Big Dreams B4 & After School Care is a locally owned and operated service. We provide morning and after school care for school aged children. We are registered with Tusla, are fully Garda vetted and are NCS registered. Our services include Mornings only, Junior and Senior Afternoons and full time Junior and Senior options. Our aim is to provide high quality and reliable care for families in our community. We are currently registered to accommodate 12 school age children (4-12 years old).
Our morning service provides a quiet start to the day. Enjoyable table-top activities, such as; drawing, colouring, card games, Jenga, building activities, bead artwork and loads more, help to ease the children into another busy school day.
During our afternoon service we facilitate written homework and provide a wide range of creative table top and gross motor activities. We love to get outdoors and encourage open- ended and imaginative play activities. We strive to provide a warm, caring and interactive space for children to relax and have fun.

Eimear Stapleton
Eimear is the owner/ manager of Big Dreams. She is a Primary school teacher in Portlaoise, and she has taught in an Autism class for the last 3 years. She has almost 20 years experience working with children. She loves working with children and is excited to provide an alternative childcare option for families in the area.
Holly Dermody
Holly is our Room Leader; her enthusiasm and sunny personality mean she facilitates creative fun games and experiences for all the children in our care. Holly has been working with kids for a number of years and has an excellent ability to build and develop kind and caring relationships with children. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Linguistics, Communication and Digital Culture, meaning she helps guide children with their homework with ease.
